Winter Garden Row Crop Conference set for Jan. 29 in Hondo

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host the 2024 Winter Garden Row Crop Conference on Jan. 29 in Hondo. The event will be held from 8 a.m. 2:15 p.m. at the Hermann Sons Life Hall, 251 Texas Highway 173. Registration is $10. To RSVP, contact the AgriLife Extension office in Medina County at 830 741 6180.

The deadline to RSVP is Jan. 24. A total of three Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education units will be available for private applicator licenses, including two general and one laws and regulations. There also will be one laws and regulations credit given for the optional auxin training that will be held in the afternoon.

A catered lunch will be provided and there will be a trade show during the event. Kris Ede, field representative, Texas Farm Bureau, Uvalde, and Emilee Trlica, area coordinator, Texas Farm Bureau, New Braunfels, will be speaking on legislative updates during lunch.
