Dhoni, in his complaint, accused his ex business partners of duping him of close to Rs 16 crore by not honouring a contract to establish cricket academies.

Sources close to MS Dhoni have said that MS Dhoni filed a criminal case against them for forgery. Despite the denial of accusations by Mihir, as many as five complaints and summons are pending against him in Tamil Nadu. He did not turn up even once on grounds of poor health. Shradha Global Educational Trust has also filed a written complaint against Mihir Diwakar.

Mihir had entered into an agreement with the trust on behalf of MS Dhoni without having any authority and extracted a sum of Rs 35 lakh for a new school venture with logos and endorsement of the former India cricket team captain. The trust lodged a complaint against Mihir after it merged that he did not have any authority over logos and endorsement.

Dhoni’s friend and a close source said that Mihir Diwakar’s actions have maligned and tarnished the reputation of MS Dhoni. “He is issuing a statement but Mihir Diwakar should muster courage and come to Ranchi court to reply to the subject,” the source said. MS Dhoni filed a Criminal Case for offenses under Section 406, 420,467,468,471 and 120B of Indian Penal Code (IPC) in the competent court at District Court Ranchi against 1.Aarka Sports Management Pvt Ltd.
