WCVB's Doug Meehan Soars with the Blue Angels: An Unforgettable High-G Experience

WCVB EyeOpener anchor Doug Meehan recently embarked on the flight of a lifetime, soaring through the skies with the legendary U.S. Navy Blue Angels. This breathtaking experience, a precursor to the highly anticipated Boston Air Show, offered Meehan a rare, visceral glimpse into the demanding world of these elite aviators and the incredible G-forces they endure.

Meehan's adventure unfolded at Naval Air Facility El Centro, California, the winter training grounds for the Blue Angels.

Strapped into the cockpit of an F/A-18 Super Hornet, he flew alongside Lt. Cmdr. Chris Kapuschansky, known by his call sign, "KAP."
