These beautifully handcrafted dolls showcase the rich cultural heritage of Thanjavur district in Tamil Nadu. All the dolls have a lightweight body made of tapioca flour, papier mache and plaster of Paris cooked and kneaded to the consistency of ‘roti’ dough.
