Central Vietnam is currently reeling from the brutal impact of Typhoon Bualoi, a formidable storm that has made a devastating landfall, leaving a trail of destruction, claiming at least one life, and leaving several others missing. As the tenth typhoon to batter the nation this year, Bualoi struck with immense force, plunging communities into chaos and sparking urgent search and rescue operations.

Reports from the national steering committee for natural disaster prevention confirm the tragic death of a fisherman, swept away by the storm’s relentless power.

In anticipation of Bualoi's arrival, hundreds of thousands of residents were preemptively evacuated from vulnerable coastal areas and low-lying regions.
