Tilak did not grab his chance, may be dropped to make way for Virat: Aakash Chopra

Listen to Story Former India opener Aakash Chopra believes left handed batter Tilak Varma could be dropped for India's second T20I against Afghanistan to make way for Virat Kohli and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Chopra stated that Varma's failure to capitalise on his chances may cost him his place in the second T20I.

Kohli missed the first T20I against Afghanistan due to personal circumstances, but he is expected to be available for the second game on Sunday in Indore. Jaiswal, who was slated to open alongside Rohit Sharma, was ruled out of the series opener with a strained right groin. "Jitesh played a good knock. Let me put my hand up and say that Jitesh played well but he will have to be mindful that he needs to finish matches because he could have done that.
