This potential Fortnite crossover would be a hit, but sadly remains a ‘pipe’ dream

Numerous iconic collaborations have graced Fortnite throughout its lifetime, but none would arguably be as massive as the potential of a Breaking Bad crossover. Ever since Walter White hung up his yellow hazmat suit following the show’s conclusion in 2013, the narcotic centric drama has remained a cultural mainstay due to its sustained brilliance throughout five seasons, prompting many within the battle royale’s fan base to plead with Epic Games for a crossover.

Unfortunately, these pleas have been brushed aside until now, as a Breaking Bad collaboration, no matter how highly requested, continues to remain a ‘pipe’ dream for players (pun intended). Despite Better Call Saul previously being featured in the , a Breaking Bad mention was nowhere to be found, making a crossover featuring Heisenberg, Jesse Pinkman, Gus Fring, and Mike Ehrmantraut even more unlikely.

Of course, the results of these surveys don’t quite determine what future Fortnite partnerships will look like since Epic Games ultimately decides what direction their battle royale goes in. However, the overwhelming support that a Breaking Bad / Better Call Saul collaboration has received since the beginning lends credence to the fact that it would undoubtedly be one of the biggest appearances in the game’s history if it were to happen.

In fact, many of the supportive comments below one already show just how well received a Breaking Bad crossover would be after said: “As long as [Epic Games] don’t make it a battle pass, I will absolutely love Epic forever and become an eternal apologist for them.” Alas, with the developer yet to reveal the next crossover and a Breaking Bad collaboration seemingly improbable, fans will have to remain patient indefinitely until the developers eventually announce it, if at all.
