Telangana is bracing for a spell of turbulent weather as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad has issued a comprehensive yellow alert, forecasting widespread thunderstorms across 22 districts on October 23rd. Residents are urged to prepare for adverse conditions, including intense lightning and robust gusty winds.

The IMD's forecast indicates that these thunderstorms will be accompanied by lightning strikes, posing a significant risk, especially in open areas.

Districts such as Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, and Jogulamba Gadwal are specifically identified as areas where heavy downpours could occur.

The fluctuating weather patterns also mean moderate temperatures, with maximums hovering around 30-32°C and minimums around 20-22°C, but the primary concern remains the intensity of the thunderstorms and associated risks.
