Elon Musk's SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket on Tuesday with the first set of Starlink satellites that can beam phone signals from space directly to smartphones. "Falcon 9 launches 21 Starlink satellites to orbit from California, including six with Direct to Cell capabilities," said SpaceX, while tweeting the video of the launch.

As per SpaceX, "Starlink satellites with Direct to Cell capabilities enable ubiquitous access to texting, calling, and browsing wherever you may be on land, lakes, or coastal waters."
