Silent Hill 2 seemingly gets a 2024 launch window in a recent PlayStation video

A lot of people have been quite keen to know when they can get their hands on the remake of . So much so that developer , and we still have no idea when it’s releasing. But we’re getting closer. In a recent video on the , we’re treated to a brief teaser showing what we can expect to launch this year on Sony’s system.

Among other things (something called “Tek en,” not sure if you’ve heard of it), we’re now told that will be available this year. Of course, we could probably have ascertained that 2024 was likely the release window. But it’s comforting to see PlayStation officially acknowledge this. However, we don’t have an actual date yet, so that’s surely the next port of call.

We must be nearly there, then Many of us had been hoping to see the remake by the end of 2023 at the latest. For some time, it’s been suggested that Bloober was just putting the finishing touches to the game, and this teaser sort of confirms that the team must be at the final hurdle now. After the disappointment that was the interactive experience , the legendary series could do with a win.
