I can tell you that HP has an excellent product line of desktops and laptops. Personally, I use a Samsung S23 Ultra cellular phone, Samsung S7+ Tablet, Samsung S3 watch and a Samsung 32 inch monitor on my HP Omen desktop system. Again, it really depends on the budget you are considering for his school laptop and system requirements.
