Marie Philip Poulin scored a hat trick to lead Montreal's Professional Women's Hockey League team to a 5 2 win over New York on Wednesday night in Elmont, N.Y. The Montreal captain went scoreless in her first two league games before leading her team to its second win. Kennedy Marchment and Catherine Dubois also scored for the winning side, while Elaine Chuli stopped 30 of 32 shots.
Canadians Jessie Eldridge and Ella Shelton replied for New York, which fell to 1 2. New York's Corinne Schroeder made 30 saves on 35 shots.
