A shocking case of animal cruelty has rocked Pittsburgh, as three individuals now face serious charges for allegedly subjecting pet mice to horrific abuse. Authorities claim the trio taped live mice to fireworks, detonating them for disturbing videos, an act that has sparked widespread outrage and revulsion.

The gruesome discovery unfolded following a tip-off that led humane agents from the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society, aided by Pittsburgh police, to an apartment in the city's Bloomfield neighborhood.

What they uncovered was a scene of profound neglect and deliberate cruelty: four live mice, bearing burn marks, remnants of tape, and glue, confined to a small cage. Nearby, a cache of fireworks, together with video footage documenting the abhorrent acts, provided undeniable evidence of the abuse.

Named in the charges are Adam C.

S. Robert, 20, Brooke A. W., 21, and Joshua A. W., 20. Each has been charged with multiple counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty and conspiracy. According to court documents, the alleged atrocities were not isolated incidents but part of a pattern of abuse, with some acts purportedly filmed in a wooded area in Butler County.

Officials have not minced words in their condemnation of the defendants' actions.

"This is disgusting, it's sickening," stated a representative from the humane society, expressing the collective horror felt by those investigating the case.
