Person taken into custody during home standoff in Mass. town

One person is in custody in connection with a standoff at a Milford home, according to police in the Massachusetts town. At about 2:30 p.m., the Milford Police Department shared on social media the section of West Street (Route 140) between Prospect and Asylum streets was closed to traffic. Video from the scene shows at least one SWAT team vehicle has responded to Milford, along with numerous police cruisers. Milford police did not state how many people are involved in the standoff situation, or how the person who was taken into custody is involved.
