Packers quarterback Jordan Love offers to help woman push car out of snow during blizzard

Packers quarterback Jordan Love went out of his way to offer aid to a local woman with a winter weather problem. Lucy Kurowski, a 20 year old UW Milwaukee student from Wisconsin, was leaving her hair appointment in her hometown of De Pere on Friday and realized her car was stuck in the snow as the area was hit hard by Blizzard Bennett.

She told Fox 11’s Michelle Melby in an exclusive interview that her car couldn’t back up or move forward. According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal , the area has gotten upwards of 7.8 inches of snow. As Kurowski was trying to free her car, she noticed a man walking by her who appeared to be a Packers player in Nike gear.

“I did a double take, and then I did a triple take,” she told the local outlet. They made eye contact but she “didn’t want to bother him.” Luckily for her, the player – who ended up being Love – turned back around after initially driving away in his car. “He gets out of his car and he’s like, ‘Are you OK?'” Kurowski said.

The two agreed to take a selfie and Kurowski told Fox that Love was sweet and down to earth throughout the process.

“I couldn’t even believe it. It didn’t feel real. I was in a state of shock,” she said. Love offering a helping hand went viral when Kurowski’s family – including her aunt Allie Kurowski – posted the photo of her and Love she sent them to social media. “It’s blowing up and I think everyone is truly seeing that he’s not just an MVP on the field, but just a great, great person,” Kurowski said.

“He’s a great representation of what Green Bay is.” Love, 25, is in his third season with the Packers and his first as a starter as Green Bay (9 8) is set to visit the Cowboys on Sunday in the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs. He threw for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in helping the Packers to a wild card berth in the postseason..
