In a Tuesday news release, Tofield RCMP said at approximately 6:00 p.m. Monday officers responded to a multi vehicle collision on Highway 14 and Range Road 192.
On arrival, first responders located the body of a 34 year old male resident of Tofield who was declared dead at the scene. A second man was found with life threatening injuries and taken to a hospital in Edmonton by STARS air ambulance. After an initial investigation, police determined the two men got out of their vehicles following a collision when they were struck by a passing motorist.
