It truly was a scene of utter chaos on Oahu's windward side recently, as torrential rains unleashed devastating flash floods, transforming once-familiar streets into raging rivers. For countless residents, especially in areas like Kaaawa Valley, Hauula, and Punaluu, the world outside their windows turned into a terrifying, watery nightmare in what felt like the blink of an eye.
