FARGO— Firefighters quickly extinguished a dumpster fire before it could spread to nearby garages at an apartment complex Wednesday morning, January 3. Several engines were dispatched to the area of 1501 48th St S. in Fargo shortly before 3 a.m.
for reports of flames coming from a dumpster burning in between apartment garages. It took minutes to extinguish the fire and firefighters determined the only damage was to the dumpster. The fire was started in the same general area as 6 previous garage fires deemed arson near West Acres Mall. ADVERTISEMENT A WDAY TV crew reports Fargo firefighters on scene Wednesday morning did not believe that the most recent dumpster fire was necessarily suspicious.
