Mohawked real estate investor Robert Rivani sells Miami Beach penthouse for $8M

Mohawked real estate/hospitality investor Robert Rivani, of Black Lion Investment Group, has sold his Miami Beach penthouse for $8 million — down from its $8.8 million asking price last June. Rivani’s recent acquisitions include the restaurant Amara at Paraiso and Wynwood Jungle, a retail plaza in Wynwood.

The penthouse is at the Piero Lissoni designed Ritz Carlton Residences, where celebrity owners include married couple Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, along with MLB Hall of Famer Mike Piazza, the retired catcher for the New York Mets. Rivani paid $7.5 million for the penthouse , one of the largest in the building, in 2021.

Rivani told Gimme Shelter that this penthouse was a “tweener,” or an in between property, as he’s since purchased a Miami home. The four bedroom, five bath corner residence, at 4701 Meridian Ave., is 4,525 square feet, and comes with floor to ceiling windows, plus views of the bay and ocean. There’s a chef’s kitchen with a butler’s pantry, a media room and a dining room with a statement blue chandelier.

The main bedroom suite was designed like a velvet jewel box and comes with water views. Building amenities include a private marina, a rooftop pool deck with cabanas and a poolside grill, a meditation garden, a club room and a concierge. The listing broker was Dina Goldentayer of Douglas Elliman..
