Mia Goth Sued for Allegedly Kicking Background Actor In His Head

A background actor who worked on the film MaXXXine sued Mia Goth , claiming that Goth intentionally kicked him in the head while filming a scene last April, according to a filing obtained by Rolling Stone . Film distrubutor A24 and the movie’s director Ti West were also named as defendants. Goth was accused of battery while A24 and West, along with Goth, were accused of wrongful termination.

Reps for Goth and West didn’t immediately reply to Rolling Stone’s request for comment. A rep for A24 couldn’t immediately be reached. James Hunter alleged in the suit, filed in Los Angeles on Friday, that he was hired to work the film as a “dead parishioner.” During a take for one of the film’s scenes, Goth nearly stepped on Hunter’s head, according to the suit, and Goth was allegedly warned to be careful.

During the next take, per the suit, Goth “intentionally kicked plaintiff in the head with her boot,” which caused him to “immediately experience headache and stiffness in his neck.” Hunter claimed that he reported the injury to an assistant director, who allegedly told Goth and West, but the plaintiff said no one offered him medical assistance.

After the scene, Hunter alleged, Goth “invaded plaintiff’s privacy in he bathroom; laughed at plaintiff; taunted, mocked and belittled plaintiff; and dared plaintiff to do anything about it.” Trending Twitter Explodes With Antisemitic Misinfo After Secret Tunnel Found Under NYC Synagogue Trump ‘Rehearsed’ His Unhinged Fraud Trial Rant for Days Before the Judge Shut Him Up Prosecutors Seek First Biden Admin Death Penalty Sentence for Buffalo Supermarket Shooter ‘The Curse’ Finale Is Bonkers and Deeply Frustrating Hunter alleged that the casting agency told him the next day in an email that he was off the production.
