McKesson looking to sell Rexall pharmacy chain in Canada report

BCFC/iStock Editorial via Getty Images McKesson Corp. ( NYSE: MCK ) has spoken with prospective buyers for its Rexall pharmacy chain in Canada, according to a Globe & Mail report on Thursday. Rexall, which McKesson ( MCK ) acquired in 2016 for $2.2 billion, operates about 400 pharmacies. McKesson ( MCK ) could continue to supply Rexall even after it sells the drugstore chain with its pharmaceutical distribution business, according to the report.
McKesson ( MCK ) is scheduled to report its Q3 results on Feb. 7.
