Man in critical condition after overnight shooting at restaurant in Bridgeport neighborhood

A 32 year old man is in critical condition after being shot during an argument at a restaurant Friday night in the Bridgeport neighborhood, Chicago police said. Shortly before 11:30 p.m., the victim was in a restaurant in the 3400 block of South Halsted Street when he was approached by two males, and an argument ensued. One of the males pulled out a gun and shot the victim before fleeing the scene, police said. Advertisement The victim suffered multiple wounds to the body, and was taken in critical condition to Stroger Hospital. No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
