Los Gatos resident asks police to stop neighbor from doing laundry

MUNI CODE VIOLATION: 6:49 a.m. on Milbrae Lane. a resident said someone above her was doing laundry, and the washer and/or dryer were making a thumping noise and keeping her awake. She wanted officers to tell the resident to stop doing laundry until a more appropriate time. The dispatcher explained that doing laundry is not a violation.
The woman replied that the town’s noise ordinance states that anything over 6 decibels is a violation. She got upset and said if police weren’t willing to do their job, there might be a physical altercation between her and her neighbor. She then hung up. PETTY THEFT: 12:24 p.m. on Los Patios. Gold necklaces and Victoria’s Secret underwear were missing from a resident’s closet.
The resident believed the plumber she hired was responsible. The plumber was on site and denied taking anything. PETTY THEFT: 1:19 p.m. at Best Western Inn on Los Gatos Saratoga Road. A bicyclist was all over roadway and starting and stopping, so a driver eventually went around him to pass. When the bicyclist caught up to the driver, he hit or kicked his vehicle.
The driver was able to drive off, but the bicyclist caught up to them again, got off his bicycle and challenged the driver to a fight. The driver tried to get away, and he did, but not before the bicyclist threw his bicycle on top of his vehicle, causing damage..
