A 39 year old registered sex offender allegedly exposed himself to a female student at Granada High School last Thursday, according to Livermore police. Police say they received reports of a man trespassing on Wall Street near the Granada High School football field just after 12 p.m. When officers responded, the suspect, a Livermore resident, allegedly fled the scene.
Police say they found him near the creek behind the campus in possession of “drugs and drug paraphernalia.” According to Livermore police, the man is a registered sex offender. The 39 year old was arrested on suspicion of committing a “lewd act” on school grounds by exposing himself to a student.
Police do not believe he physically contacted the student. The suspect was taken to Santa Rita Jail, where he is facing charges of unlawful entry onto school grounds by a sex offender, indecent exposure and drug possession. Police are asking anyone with information to call the Livermore Police Department’s anonymous tip line at 925 371 4790..
