From Bravo to Broadway? Kathy Hilton is dipping her toes into the world of musical theater, Page Six has exclusively learned, with sources telling us that the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum has a “top secret” project in the works. “Kathy filmed a musical theater project a little bit ago and she’s getting ready to drop it soon,” one insider close to Hilton exclusively tells us, noting that other details of her endeavors are tightly under wraps.
“She’s singing and dancing. It’s incredible,” the source mentions. “Her fans are going to flip.” A second insider tells us that the project is “very fun” and “‘Hamilton’ inspired.” Reps for Hilton didn’t immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment. Before Hilton and her famous family — including Paris Hilton, who pioneered a genre of reality TV with her defining hit, “The Simple Life,” in the early aughts — dominated the unscripted space, she racked up a slew of impressive acting credits.
For more Page Six reality TV updates The star, 64, scored roles in “The Nanny and the Professor,” “Family Affair,” “Bewitched” and “Happy Days,” among other iconic sitcoms of the ‘60s and ‘70s. As far as films go, she’s appeared in “The Dark” and “On the Air Live with Captain Midnight,” both released in 1979.
Kathy’s musical gifts may be lesser known, but her eldest child, Paris, 42, is certainly gifted in the singing department. The eternal It Girl parlayed her reality TV fame into a successful pop career, releasing her eponymous debut album in 2006. The LP included the smash single “Stars Are Blind,” a song that Lady Gaga has lauded as “one of the greatest records ever.” Kathy also praised the track in Paris’ 2008 MTV documentary, “Paris, Not France.” Still, the proud mom explained that her support wasn’t blind as the socialite — who maintained a close relationship with the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, for years — has a refined musical palette.
Speaking to the Associated Press in June 2023, the “Paris in Love” matriarch recounted the first time she heard Paris’ signature tune on the radio. “I remember the first time I heard in on Sunset Boulevard, turning right on Rodeo and I went, ‘That’s my daughter! Wow!’” she told the outlet at the time.
“So that was exciting.” We have a feeling Paris will be equally thrilled when she discovers what mom has up her sleeve..
