Former key player for Bring Me The Horizon, Jordan Fish, is back in the studio laying down tracks after leaving the band. Fish, notable for his instrumental contributions as a keyboardist and percussionist since joining in 2012, posted a black and white photograph of himself in a makeshift studio on his Instagram account, fueling speculation about his upcoming musical endeavors.
Fish's departure from the Sheffield rock band was confirmed last month, marking the end of his significant influence in shaping the band's electronic sound on their 2013 seminal album 'Sempiternal'. Over the years, Fish racked up an impressive discography with the band, contributing to 2015's 'That's The Spirit', 2019's 'amo', and 2020's 'Post Human: Survival Horror'.
The band addressed Fish's exit in a statement, gratefully acknowledging his musical contributions and wishing him well for future endeavors. On his part, Fish expressed his pride and gratitude for his time with the band, adding he was excited to embark on this new chapter in his career.
Just a day before the release of their new song 'Kool Aid' on January 5th, Bring Me The Horizon had teased their new track on social media. Accompanied by pictures offering fans a peek into the recording process, the band members hinted at their reunion with recording engineer Dan Lancaster for the new song, marking their first release after Fish's sudden exit.
Despite Fish's departure, Bring Me The Horizon's UK tour will proceed as scheduled this month, with performances lined up in cities like Cardiff, Birmingham, Newcastle, and London. Fans can check here for any remaining tickets.
