After tying the knot in a traditional Christian ceremony on January 10 in Udaipur, Rajasthan, actor Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare hosted a star studded wedding reception on Saturday evening at NMACC (Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre) in Mumbai. From legendary actor Dharmendra to former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, actor Salman Khan, who's who of showbiz marked their starry presence at the wedding reception of Aamir Khan's daughter Ira and son in law Nupur Shikhare on Saturday.
Actress also made a rare appearance at the Ira Khan Nupur Shikhare reception. Dressed in a multi colored lehenga for the night, Ranaut looked stunning as she graced the event. She happily posed for the paparazzi before stepping into the party hall. On the red carpet, Kangana was greeted with 'Jai Shri Ram' by paps.
Responding to them, Ranaut chanted 'Jai Shri Ram' back. ADVERTISEMENT The 'Tejas' actress also took to her social media handle to share an inside picture from the reception. In the picture, Kangana is seen posing with the newlyweds and their family. She is seen standing in between Ira and Aamir's ex wife Reena Dutta.
Last year, Kangana had said that Aamir was her best friend. "Actually mujhe bhi kabhi kabhi woh din yaad aate hain jab Aamir sir was my best friend... jaane kahan gaye woh din (Sometimes I recall the time when Aamir Sir was my best friend... I don't know where those days have gone)," she wrote on her Instagram stories.

At Shobhaa De's book launch, Aamir was asked which actor could play the writer's role in her biopic. Aamir took the names of Deepika Padukone, and Alia Bhatt. Shobhaa, however, reminded Aamir of Kangana. Upon the reminder, Aamir praised Knagana's acting skills. A part of Kangana's tweet read, "Bechara Aamir Khan … ha ha he tried his best to pretend like he doesn’t know that I am the only three times national award winning actress none of those he mentioned has even one …Thank you @DeShobhaa ji I would love to play you.".
