The report doesn't mince words, contending that Instagram's very architecture, from its mesmerizing "endless scroll" feature to its ubiquitous appearance-altering filters, is intrinsically detrimental to young users.

These design choices, far from being neutral, are accused of actively fueling obsessive social comparison and fostering an unhealthy preoccupation with body image, directly impacting the fragile self-esteem of developing minds.
