Former Oregon tight end Casey Kelly will finish his college career on the East coast. Kelly, who entered the transfer portal earlier this month, on Tuesday. The 6 foot 3, 245 pound sixth year senior has one year of eligibility remaining and reunites with ECU offensive coordinator John David Baker, who coached him while at Ole Miss in 2021 22.
Kelly had five catches for 43 yards and two touchdowns for the Ducks this season. Of the 12 UO scholarship players to enter the portal this offseason, Kelly is the tenth to commit to a new school, joining receivers Ashton Cozart (SMU) and Kris Hutson (Washington State), safety Bryan Addison (UCLA), cornerback Trikweze Bridges (Florida), defensive back Cole Martin (Arizona State), running back Dante Dowdell (Nebraska), quarterback Ty Thompson (Tulane), defensive lineman Tevita Pome’e and outside linebacker Jake Shipley (North Texas)..
