Amid the depleting marketing cap and user’s relentless protests, X is rolling back its decision to remove headlines from link previews. Earlier in 2023, Elon Musk trashed the feature from X’s UI for ‘esthetic’ reasons. Many publishers noticed the new change, but with a ‘tiny’ twist. The URL card will show the headline, albeit in a wee little font size, limited to a character length of 40 50.

The earlier reversal of the headline preview in October 2023 was not visible on the older versions of X’s Android app. While most netizens welcomed the app’s decision to reverse the bizarre visual change, others remain skeptical.
