Double Tragedy Rocks Ghaziabad: Son Killed in Hit-and-Run, Mother Dies of Shock

It began late last month when a young man, Prashant Kasana, was tragically killed in a hit-and-run incident. But the heartbreak didn't stop there; his beloved mother, Sushila Devi, couldn't bear the news, collapsing and passing away from shock a short time later. Prashant, just thirty years old and residing in Chipiyana, Ghaziabad, was out on November 30th, around 10:30 PM. He was near Gaur City 1 in Greater Noida West when an unidentified vehicle struck him down. The driver, in a cruel act of cowardice, simply fled the scene, leaving Prashant to die. Such a senseless loss, leaving a gaping void.

The news, as you can well imagine, was utterly crushing for his family. When Prashant's body was finally brought home on December 1st, the sight, the reality, was just too much for his 60-year-old mother, Sushila Devi, to bear. Her heart, already broken, simply gave out. She suffered a severe shock and tragically passed away, a victim not of the road, but of an overwhelming grief. It's almost as if her spirit couldn't fathom life without her son.

The family, already grappling with Prashant's sudden departure, now faces the impossible task of mourning two cherished lives. Prashant, an unmarried young man, was the son of Mahavir Singh Kasana, who runs a modest business. He also leaves behind two married sisters.
