It's a huge win, culminating in the arrest of three notorious individuals and the remarkable recovery of no less than ten stolen vehicles – a significant number of them being high-value SUVs. At the heart of this criminal enterprise was Mohd Islam, identified as the syndicate's alleged kingpin. It turns out, this wasn't his first rodeo; police records reveal he's been involved in over 20 cases previously, suggesting a long and checkered history in the underworld of vehicle theft. Working alongside him were Mohd Wasim, who played a crucial role as a receiver and seller of these hot cars, himself having two prior cases, and Mohd Sajid, a driver and helper, with one case against his name. The breakthrough came when the Special Staff received a crucial tip-off regarding Islam and Wasim's movements. Acting swiftly on this intelligence, the police laid a trap near Mukarba Chowk on the Outer Ring Road. Picture this scene: Islam, driving a stolen Maruti Brezza, suddenly found his escape route blocked. He was apprehended right there, the stolen vehicle a clear testament to his activities. Hot on his heels, Wasim was also cornered near Wazirabad Road, driving yet another pilfered Maruti Brezza. The net was closing in, and the initial arrests were made.

Following these initial captures, sustained interrogation and painstaking follow-up investigations led the police to Mohd Sajid, who was subsequently apprehended in Uttar Pradesh.
