Defensive coordinator Wink Martindale out in major Giants shakeup

The Giants are in the market for a new defensive coordinator. Don “Wink” Martindale resigned from the job, The Post’s Paul Schwartz confirmed. There were hints of this news earlier Monday when it was reported the Giants were letting go of linebackers coach Drew Wilkins, with The Post’s Ryan Dunleavy noting that Wilkins was Martindale’s “right hand man” . Martindale, 60, had spent two seasons as Giants’ defensive coordinator after holding that title with the Ravens for the previous four years.
