CTA, Metra to offer free rides late New Year’s Eve

Traveling home late on New Year’s Eve? If you’re in the Chicago area, you can catch a free ride home on CTA buses and trains or the Metra system. Riders will not need to pay fares for CTA trains or buses starting Sunday at 10 p.m. until Monday morning at 4 a.m., according to a CTA press release.
