Corey Taylor has cancelled his previously announced North American solo tour. The Slipknot frontman took to Instagram on Friday (Jan. 5) to reveal the news, citing struggles with his mental and physical health. “For the past several months my mental and physical health have been breaking down, and I reached a place that was unhealthy for my family and I,” he wrote in his statement.
“I know this decision will come as a shock to some and may be regarded as unpopular by others – but after taking a hard look at where I am and where I was going, I need to pull myself back and be home with my family for the time being. Those of you who bought tickets and VIP packages for this upcoming run will get a full refund.” See his full statement here .

Des Rocs and Jigsaw Youth were set as supporting acts. Taylor completed European and North American tours in 2023 in support of his sophomore solo album, CMF2 , which was released on September 15 under his own label imprint Decibel Cooper Recordings.
With this album, Taylor told Audacy Check In that he “decided to up the stakes, the music is more expansive, there’s heavier stuff, there’s darker stuff it paints with the whole palate like the first album, but there’s not there, man. To me, it’s the best rock album of this year and next year.
It’s that good.”.
