When the singer actress dancer went to embrace Larson, telling her she’s also “such a huge fan,” star expressed why Lopez is such an inspiration to her. “I saw and it made me want to be an actor,” Larson said. “You’ve always meant so much to me.

I did not think it was going to be right now.” Before walking away, still in shock that she had just met her idol, the actress quipped, “I’m going to have to go do a shot of tequila or something.” She also made sure to point out to her mother, who she brought as her guest, that she just met Lopez, yelling, “Mom, oh my gosh!” Larson has also had quite a successful career herself, starring in dozens of projects, including , , and , the latter of which won her an Oscar for best leading actress.
