A settlement has been reached for a class action lawsuit in Canada that's related to Apple smartphone performance and battery power management. You could get hundreds of dollars if you had certain iPhone devices over the years. This iPhone power management class action that was filed in B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario is related to allegations of: You could be eligible to get a payment from the Apple iPhone class action lawsuit if you owned and/or purchased an Apple iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, SE, 7 or 7 Plus smartphone device with iOS 10.2.1 or later and/or iOS 11.2 or later installed or downloaded before December 21, 2017.

Apple has agreed to pay between $11,137,500 and $14,427,500 but the settlement is not an admission of liability, wrongdoing or fault. The tech company has denied the allegations from this class action lawsuit. If the settlement is approved, Apple will provide a cash payment to each class member who submits an approved claim.

To receive that cash payment, you'll have to submit a valid claim for each iPhone device but you'll only be able to do that once the court approves the settlement. The claim form will require you to provide information like your name, mailing address, iPhone serial number and more. Also, you'll have to submit a declaration under oath stating that: It's expected that the payment from this class action will be up to a maximum of $150 per device.
