Jaiswal and Kohli’s brilliance with the bat helped the hosts in weathering the storm having lost skipper Rohit early in the innings. Jaiswal revealed how it felt to play along with Kohli. “Actually, it is always a pleasure to play with Virat bhaiya . It’s an honour to play with him. We were having conversations like where we can play and what shots we can play on this wicket,” the southpaw disclosed.

Later, allrounder Dube also pulled off a sublime unbeaten knock of 63 off 32 balls to guide his side to a resounding six wicket victory. Team India scored the winning runs with 26 balls to spare. India will now aim to whitewash Afghanistan in the third and final T20I on Wednesday, 17 January.
