From the heart of Madhya Pradesh to the southern stretches of Karnataka and the bustling streets of Hyderabad, similar patterns of violence during religious processions have emerged, prompting authorities to impose prohibitory orders and scramble to restore peace.

Take, for instance, the situation in Pandhurna town, nestled within Madhya Pradesh's Chhindwara district. A procession, reportedly a vibrant spectacle, suddenly soured. Tensions, perhaps simmering beneath the surface, erupted into open confrontation. Reports describe stone-pelting, the jarring sound of vehicles being damaged, and the unfortunate reality of injuries. And the unsettling pattern didn't stop there. Further south, in Hyderabad, a major urban hub, another Shivaji Jayanti procession became a flashpoint. Specifically, in the Secunderabad area near BHEL, peace was shattered when stone-pelting began. This time, even a police vehicle reportedly bore the brunt of the violence, sustaining damage. The scenes of disorder, sadly, were once again quelled by vigilant police action, dispersing the crowds and eventually bringing the volatile situation under control. It seems a collective sigh of relief could only be breathed once the streets were clear and quiet once more.
