Chennai's commitment to inclusive urban living shines brighter with the recent launch of a dedicated bus service by the Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) for students of the CBR College for the Deaf in Adyar. For years, the journey to and from CBR College, nestled within the Guindy Industrial Estate, posed considerable challenges for its 14 students.

Navigating Chennai's bustling public transport system often meant missed buses, communication difficulties with conductors and fellow passengers, and the constant stress of an uncertain commute. These daily struggles not only impacted their punctuality but also added an undue burden to their academic pursuits.

Responding to persistent pleas for improved accessibility, MTC has now deployed a small, dedicated bus, operating under route number 102/107.

This vital service ferries the students daily from the Adyar Depot directly to their college in Guindy, transforming a once arduous trip into a smooth and reliable journey.
